The studio is closed today. The studio will re-open on August 21st.

• Ongoing monthly wheel throwing pottery classes available year-round.
• Mon. & Wed. evenings from 6 to 8 p.m.
• Monthly cost: $185, due on or before the first class of each month.
• Registration fee: $25
• Includes instruction, equipment, tools, a cubby space, cone 5 dipping glazes, kiln firings (electric/oxidation), and first bag of clay to use in class.
• Clay sold separately after the first bag is used.
• Three to twelve month commitment recommended in order to gain satisfactory results and wheel throwing skills. Plan to attend every class.
• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds is advisable.
• No refunds for missed classes, business trips, vacations, sickness, or holidays.
• Space is limited to 5 adults for wheel classes. Handbuilding is also available during wheel class times.
• Go to the 'Class Schedules' tab at the top of the page to download a Registration Form and a Liability Release Waiver to fill out and mail in or bring to class.

• RAKU firings happen once a month, depending on participation. Call the studio to reserve a space and discuss your options and volume needs. Costs: $25 per person, $18 per load fired, glazes included. Raku firing requires clay forms to be bisqued first. Extra tall forms will cost more to fire per load as it takes more fuel to fire the larger chamber (price TBD).

HANDBUILDING PROJECT: ORNAMENTS

2 SESSIONS ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 1st, AT 11 am OR 1 pm, LIMITED TO 6 KIDS/SESSION.

Make 2 HOLIDAY CLAY ORNAMENTS per child (or adult). Spend an hour making your own earthenware clay ornament. Parent involvement required. $12/2 ornaments, $6 for each additional ornament. Items will be dried & bisque fired before being taken home. Pick up after Saturday, November 15th.  For an additional $3, project includes 3 holiday colors of acrylic paint and a brush to take home.

HANDBUILDING PROJECT: COOKIE TRAY

2 SESSIONS ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 15th, AT 11 am OR 1 p, LIMITED TO 6 PERSONS/SESSION

Make 1 STONEWARE HOLIDAY CLAY COOKIE TRAY per person. Spend an hour making your own stoneware clay cookie tray. Parent involvement required with kids. $25/tray. Tray will be dried & bisque fired before being dipped glazed in forest green & fired again. Pick up after Saturday, December 6th.

BY POPULAR REQUEST, HANDBUILDING PROJECT: ORNAMENTS -  WILL BE REPEATED!

2 SESSIONS ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 13th, AT 11 am OR 1 pm, LIMITED TO 6 KIDS/SESSION.

Current Class Schedule

* A minimum of 3 to 12 months, twice a week, is typically needed in order to gain proficient skill levels.

** A one-time $30 registration/start-up fee, in addition to the class fee, holds your space in a class and includes your first 25 lb. bag of clay.

Schedules and prices subject to change.

We accept cash and checks for payments. $35.00 cash fee for all NSF returned checks.

Ability to lift 25-50 pounds advisable.

The workspace environment is not suitable for children under the age of 6 years.

Registrations received with the non-refundable registration fee of $30 dollars will receive confirmation of space availability by email or phone. If no space is available, fee will be held until space is available. Registration fee is exchanged for enrollee's first bag of clay to use in class. Clay is purchased seperately thereafter. Submitting a registration form does not guarantee placement in a class. Classes are filled on a first come, first served basis. Fees are not transferrable. No refunds for missed classes, business trips, vacations, sickness, or holidays. Detailed demonstrations & guidance from instructor, tools, equipment, electric kiln firings and dipping glazes are included in the monthly class fee. Raku firings are seperate from throwing classes.
